Phillip Doggett-Williams  is a graduate of RMIT Fine Arts (1978) having studied under teachers George Baldessin, Graham King and Anthony Pryor. For the last 30 years he has built a strong reputation as a Melbourne artist working in the disciplines of sculpture, painting and lithography. His artworks are represented in major collections that include the Australian National Gallery, Canberra; Artbank and the Gallery of NSW. Phillip Doggett-Williams is a founding member of the artist collective ‘Argyle Studios’ situated in Salmon Street Port Melbourne, established in 1993.  He has lived with his wife and 2 children in Belmont, Geelong since 2000. From his home studio he sculpts and paints and continues to produce lithographs at his Port Melbourne print workshop, Argyle Studios.
